According to Education Destination Asia (n.d.), education is a national priority in Vietnam. The Vietnam curriculum follows a structure where preschool lasts for three (3) years that underscores the perennial skills: language and alphabet. The learners will enter primary school and proceed to lower and higher secondary education that prepares them for senior colleges, research institutes, and universities.
